The Gestahlian Empire

With E3 2015 finally behind us, I just wanted to write up a small post about what I was most interested in from the event. Overall for the big three, I think Sony won the show, with many new and innovative titles along with the announcement of some returning fan favorites. Nintendo followed suit, and unfortunately I found nothing of interest from Microsoft. As for individual games themselves, the niche and indie titles stole the show for me with Xseed Games easily having the games I'm most interested in. So now I'll list all the games I am currently keeping an eye on in alphabetical order (I will include trailers if you're curious): Battleborn - Looks like a crazy fun time + from creator of Borderlands Cosmic Star Heroine - Zeboyd never fails to deliver! I backed this one on Kickstarter and I can't wait to get my copy! Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Looks incredible, plus Human Revolution was an amazing game. Disgaea 5  - Gotta love me some sexy devils ;) ...

Today (6/9) is Tojo Nozomi's Birthday! As my second favorite character in Love Live, I adore her a lot! She is the main pillar of support for the group, and kind and sweet to boot (not to mention handsy) so I just wanted to give a small B-day post to μ's favorite big sister. Of the new anime series airing this season, one that really caught my eye was Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka or Danmachi for short. The title for the English version is: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? I really like how the anime takes standard RPG tropes and applies them to their world, like how an adventurer can 'view' their stats similar to the status menu in an RPG or there is a level system to indicate overall growth. As a child I grew up playing JRPGs (My blog name is a good indicator of that) and today it still remains my favorite gaming genre, although shmups and 2D fighting games are coming close. This anime has been a blast to watch so far, and I'm really liking the characters, especially Hestia; she is adorable and a really supportive goddess. <3 I was so impressed with the 4 episodes I've seen so far, I went and picked up the English versions of the first two light novels! About three weeks ago I went out to my backyard, where we have a Cherry Blossom (Sakura) tree that was planted out back by the former owners of our house . In recent years the tree has not been doing so well, but it seems that this year it is getting much better. Do any of you guys know any good methods for caring for a Cherry Blossom tree? I took a couple of images, and I've gotta say for a cell phone camera, they came out okay :) I love Cherry Blossoms, so pretty and serene.

Today (In Japan...it's the the 18th where I am) is April 19th which means that Today is Maki Nishikino's Birthday. So to all the Maki fans out there who love this tsundere cool girl with a heart of gold, have fun celebrating! As we are in the last week of the winter season, it is time to once again bring out the new anime list for Spring 2015!! There is a LOT of anime I want to watch this season so I can't wait!!
