Dead or Alive 5

So Dead or Alive 5 was released on the 25th and I've got to say that I'm really excited for this game. I was at first very skeptical on why Tecmo was even bothering considering that Itagaki, the series creator, had left (and in a very bad way too). As I learned more and more about the game, however, I realized that maybe some new blood is needed to revolutionize the series. The game has all your favorite mainstays, a few new characters and of course the excellent fight and grapple gameplay and breast jiggling that everyone has come to expect from the series. I can't wait to get this game and start playing away. When I get the game I'll post a review here. BTW I usually play with Kasumi.

Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (NTSC-U) at my local Best Buy.

The Strategy Guide. (I like the poster that's included in this)

Also, the game will have a collectors edition that will include:
The game itself
An embossed steel case
An exclusive 92-page hardcover art book
A 20 track soundtrack CD
A really nice wall poster
and a voucher for the "Premium Swimsuit" collection DLC for all the female characters.

Yep, I'm really excited.

Fall 2012 Anime Chart

The image is located here.

Here is the chart for the upcoming Fall 2012 anime. I am currently loving Muv-Luv Alternate: Total Eclipse. I'm also interested in Medaka Box Season 2, Little Busters!, Robotics;Notes, Seitokai no Ichizon Season 2,  The To Aru Majutsu no Index, Hanasaku Iroha, Evangelion (3.0), Macross FB 7 and the Madoka Movies. Are there any that you are interested in?

Kirby!!!

Saw this at Best Buy yesterday and I've got to say I'm pretty excited to play this sometime. I've always wanted a Kirby game collection, and it looks like my dream has come true! For anyone who might have this game: What is it like? No matter what I will be getting it though just because I love Kirby games.

Product Impression - Moekana

Moekana is a Japanese learning tool from Danny Choo and his Culture Japan label. I've been a fan of Danny Choo for a long time and love his efforts to bring the understanding of Japanese culture to everyone. I recently bought a pack of Moekana cards, which are a set of 50 cards created with the intention of helping to learn the basic Japanese syllabary which is called Hiragana.

The Box!!!

Spreading the cards out.

The first character I memorized - の.

There is even a card which has all the Hiragana in order. It's useful as a quick reference guide.

Overall I am really pleased with these cards. The cardstock is very high quality and the cards are gorgeously and cutely illustrated by Japanese artist Ikkyuu. I've provided a link to the Home Page of the product below if you want to learn more or are interested in buying a pack.

First Post!!

Welcome to my Blog, I started it to ramble about my interests and other fun stuff.
As for the title, it comes from the Empire from the Role Playing Game: Final Fantasy VI. FF is still one of my favorite series and this game tops em all in my opinion (even FF7).
